TEACHING
Members of Centre for Cognitive and Neural Systems make major contributions to the teaching undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral students. These include students in all three Colleges of the University (Medicine, Science and the Humanities). Students also benefit from the fact that now is a particularly exciting time to be involved in the field of brain and cognitive science. Recent advances in diverse fields such as biology, physics, chemistry and engineering have greatly advanced our understanding of neuroscience, and they have the promise to take us further. As a result, for perhaps the first time, we have the conceptual and technical tools we need to derive meaningful answers to the most profound questions about how the human brain works and how it breaks down through injury or disease. |
