My general research interest is in learning and memory. More specifically, I am curious about how prior experiences affect subsequent learning, memory consolidation and reconsolidation and the brain mechanisms involved in novel learning and familiar learning. The methods I use include animal models of learning and memory, intra-cerebral pharmacological infusions and immunohistochemistry.
